How Anuation helps its clients with securing their invention

Anuation had been contacted by an inventor regarding the prosecution of his invention. The case was handled by another firm previously and the client was not satisfied with their work. The first examination report was not so positive and the firm which was handling the case then refused to work further on the case. Our client was simply notified that they can not prosecute the case and they are abandoning it. In reality, the invention was a solid one and drafting was also as per the standards. Disappointed by this, the client contacted us and asked us to attend to the case. We took the case as a challenge as the timeline for preparing and filing the response to the examination report was very less. Much time was already wasted on communication and unnecessary actions between the client and the other firm. Also, the case was not originally prepared, drafted, and filed by Anuation and thus we had to start from scratch. Our attorneys researched the case, reviewed the office action report in detail, carefully observes the objection and suggestion/inputs by the learned controller (issued in the FER), and drafted fresh claims pinpointing the novelty of the invention while highlighting the inventive steps of the invention. Arguments were prepared to support the amendments and also highlight the unique features of the subject invention in light of the prior art. We gave it all we got for the case and the outcomes were in our favor. The invention was granted a patent by the Indian patent office. And this is the story of how Anuation worked on its fir prosecution case to get a granted patent for our client
